The beautiful aromas I associate with high quality young Sauternes: white peach, apricot, vanilla, new oak. The palate is gorgeous, with those same flavours coming through. There is plenty of texture and weight and mouthfilling fruit. It's a substantial and luxurious tasting Sauternes. It will keep for over ten years, but can very much be enjoyed now.
Once opened it will remain delicious for at least a week.

Tasting Notes
Delicious enough to simply crack open and have a glass of now as a aperitif or at the end of meal. Drink with duck liver pate or pure foie gras or try it with a roquefort and walnut terrine. It's also very good with melon and jambon de bayonne as starter fabulous with blue cheese, such as Fourme d'Ambert, Combalou, Gorgonzola Dolce and Roquefort. As a dessert wine, try it with tarte fine - a beautiful apple tart on thin pastry.
