Tasting Notes
It's so wonderful to have a good Pinot Noir rose full stop, but at this price it's really amazing. Beautiful and ripe with notes of strawberry, melon and hints of herbs. The palate is where you really sense the Pinot Noir flavour and a really lovely elegant, juicy, voluptuous fruit feel on the palate. Lovely with fish, as well as with chicken and lamb or pork. It has a deliberate very light spritz left which is good for keeping the wine fresh. It dissipates in the glass and with opening time. But it's a positive feature of this wine. The grapes come from very carefully selected local growers. The work that goes into producing this is the same as for making a good Pinot Noir, and a lot of the grape is lost. It's not cheap to make. Bravo!
